"2/5 because although Mike Hart will answer personally to resolve issues, he does not handle things as professionally as he likes to claim. Will hit you with multiple increases in rates without sending you notices. Gets defensive when you ask for an explanation as to the increased billing - regardless of how many times you've discussed the exact issue you're still dealing with. Does not send letters/notices to the correct address. Expect him to say “if you don’t like it go somewhere else.”"

"My wife and I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with the Mike Hart agency over the last year and a half ... and multiple times we tried to resolve the problem. When asking to take my son off the auto insurance policy our entire policy was cancelled. My wife went in and explained the situation twice and we were assured it was taken care of. When my wife went to get her car license renewed she asked about the policy number and she was informed that she didn't have any insurance. She agreed to pay the "back insurance" of nearly a year. I paid $500+ over the phone. We received a paper billing for another $450 and were given the option to split it up over 3 bills. I called to discuss with the office staff and they said I didn't have to pay the additional charge, just the $58 a month on autopay. I cancelled my insurance when our next bill was over $500. I got a good rate at Allstate - $46/month. I had my insurance with State Farm over 35 years, but this was my reason for changing both my auto insurance and my homeowners insurance."
